The Italian artist Franco Clun is already 50 years old, and drawing still remains just a hobby. Although, we believe, with such talent, he could well be a professional artist.
Franco Clun’s self-portrait you can see at the end of the post. The Italian has no clear genre preference. Among his works could be found many portraits of celebrities and animals, as well as a sufficient number of landscapes. Franco never studied drawing and all you can see is his own experience. The author prefers graphite pencil drawing to any other kind of art. For several years he wasn’t engaged in drawing, but three years ago, the artist began to draw again.
If it is true that a picture can explain more than thousand words, I am what you see on the self portrait above. The picture says I love drawing and I love the graphite (also said I have an ugly face, but you are kind and pretend not to notice)
I always had overwhelming passions, and the drawing is one of them. For a long time I have left to devote to other things, but I returned three years ago. Unfortunately I did not study art, and everything I know I learned from experience and from reading some drawing manuals.
For the moment I’m posting old drawings, but the company of many great artists pushed me back to draw, so be careful: I’m at work.
